The national charity organisation Adfam is devoted to changing the lives of families affected by drugs and alcohol. At Adfam we want anyone affected by a family members addiction to drugs or alcohol to be able to benefit from healthy relationships as well as feel part of a loving and supportive family whilst enjoying mental and physical wellbeing.
Drug and alcohol usage encourages physical, emotional and financial imbalances which can destroy family relationships.
We support frontline workers and influence decision-makers to stop this happening and also we empower family member and careers.
What We Care About
We talked with family members and frontline laborers We understand that people who are facing difficulties often have answers. So, thanks to our supporters we plan a course of action: using empathy and proofs we notify, encourage and empower both workers that cooperate with those that suffer from a substance abuse of family members, as well as those family members. Capacity building, through making resources available to learn productive skills and instil confidence on individual's potential for productivity.

Substance abuse has a diverse and intense effect on family relations and happiness. We focus on things that give results in reality and we do our work seriously and carefully. Our work is driven by our companions, supporters and associates and what they actually told us. In order to achieve this we take evidences in all aspects, appreciate the genuine experiences and formal research proves.
We're Committed To Fulfil Our Purpose
Our overall objective is driven by commitment and partnering with organisations which share similar sentiments towards addiction rehabilitation. We are commit to treating families and individuals that suffer the consequences of substance abuse with consideration and honour because we understand that discrimination and disgrace are obstacles to recovery and cause damage. We are going to fight until society accepts drug and alcohol addicts and their families without shaming them.
Who We Work With
Family members, friends and carers - We actually notify and engage those individuals who are influenced by other's substance utilise, and we also wanted to raise their voices and realize them to know that they are in the issue that badly affect them.
Frontline workers- To make sure the support we deliver is effective and appropriate, we build confidence, capacity and capability of practitioners.
Decision- Architects. Our engaged and influenced national and local leaders and decision makers make policies which are made according to the issues of families.
